CUDDALORE: The police on Saturday arrested Sivalingam and eight others of Pinnathur near Chidambaram on charge of damaging the harvest machinery deployed in a private farm and manhandling the driver and the cleaner.
The persons protested against the land owner for using the harvester instead of engaging them for the work.
A wordy duel ensued, which ended in fisticuffs.
